  • The combined business is expected to cross ₹230 crore in topline revenue, while Hearzap targets approximately ₹250 crore this financial year and nearly ₹500 crore by FY2029.

National, August 18, 2026: Hearzap has completed the acquisition of Amplifon India’s hearing healthcare business, marking a significant consolidation in India’s organised hearing healthcare sector.

The transaction follows the definitive agreement announced in May 2026 and brings Amplifon India’s established network of approximately 240 hearing care points of sale, including 115 directly operated locations, experienced clinical teams and client base into Hearzap’s growing national platform.

Supported by investor 360 ONE Asset Management, the acquisition expands Hearzap’s footprint to 420 centres across India, backed by more than 1,000 service providers.

The company is now working towards establishing a network of 500 hearing care centres by 2027.

Expanding Hearing Healthcare Across India

The expanded network is expected to improve access to hearing healthcare across metropolitan cities as well as emerging Tier II and Tier III markets.

By combining Hearzap’s expanding national footprint with Amplifon India’s clinical capabilities and established operations, the company aims to create a larger platform for delivering hearing assessments, hearing solutions and rehabilitation services across the country.

Commenting on the acquisition, Raja S., Managing Director, Hearzap, said:

“The acquisition of Amplifon India represents a defining milestone in Hearzap’s journey. It is not merely an expansion of our network but an opportunity to integrate globally proven clinical expertise, operational excellence and client-centric care into our organisation.”

He added that the combined organisation would focus on expanding access, strengthening clinical quality and providing personalised hearing care supported by new technologies and international best practices.

Addressing India’s Growing Hearing Healthcare Needs

The acquisition comes as India’s hearing healthcare market undergoes significant change, driven by increasing life expectancy, greater awareness of hearing health, exposure to occupational and environmental noise and growing acceptance of hearing care solutions.

Despite this growth, access to specialised hearing services remains limited across many parts of India.

Hearzap expects the enlarged network to help address this accessibility gap by expanding organised and clinically advanced hearing care services into more markets.

Phased Integration of Amplifon India

Hearzap plans to undertake a phased integration of Amplifon India’s operations over the next 12 months.

The company said its priority will be ensuring continuity for clients and employees while maintaining uninterrupted clinical services throughout the transition.

Existing Amplifon India professionals are expected to remain an integral part of the combined organisation, helping maintain continuity of care while contributing their clinical and operational expertise to Hearzap’s expansion.

Hearzap Targets ₹250 Crore Revenue This Financial Year

The combined business is expected to cross ₹230 crore in topline revenue following integration.

Hearzap is targeting approximately ₹250 crore in revenue by the end of the current financial year, with plans to scale towards nearly ₹500 crore by FY2029.

To support this expansion, Hearzap plans investments across several areas, including new hearing care centres, entry into underserved markets, AI-enabled diagnostics, tele-audiology solutions, rehabilitation services, professional training and clinical excellence.

The company also intends to strengthen collaborations with healthcare institutions, insurance providers and community health programmes.

These initiatives will focus on increasing hearing-health awareness, encouraging earlier diagnosis and supporting long-term hearing wellness.

Building a 500-Centre Hearing Care Network

Following the Amplifon India acquisition, Hearzap enters its next growth phase with a significantly larger national network and expanded clinical capabilities.

Its target of reaching 500 centres by 2027 forms part of a broader strategy to combine physical accessibility, clinical expertise and technology to build a larger organised hearing healthcare ecosystem in India.
