India, August 19, 2026: Hyderabad-based Jassper Shipping has announced plans to invest US$50 million over the next three years to expand its capabilities across project logistics, heavy-lift transportation, vessel chartering and multimodal cargo solutions as infrastructure and industrial activity accelerates across India.
The growth capital will be infused by the company’s promoters in a phased manner and deployed towards expanding project logistics infrastructure, strengthening bulk and breakbulk cargo handling capabilities, enhancing technology-led logistics planning and scaling operations across key industrial and port-led logistics corridors.
The investment represents a significant expansion initiative for Jassper Shipping as it seeks to strengthen its position in specialised industrial logistics across India and the Gulf.
First Phase to See $10 Million Investment
Under the first phase of the investment programme, Jassper Shipping plans to deploy US$10 million towards expanding its B2B project logistics operations.
The expansion will focus on industries including power, steel, petrochemicals, heavy engineering, manufacturing and large-scale infrastructure projects.
The capital will also support the development of specialised transportation capabilities, port-to-plant logistics, vessel chartering and integrated multimodal freight solutions designed to handle oversized and critical cargo.
These capabilities are particularly important for industrial and infrastructure projects where equipment and components frequently require specialised handling, transportation planning and coordination across ports, roads and other freight networks.
Infrastructure Expansion Driving Specialised Logistics Demand
Jassper Shipping’s investment comes as infrastructure, manufacturing, renewable energy, ports and industrial corridors continue to drive demand for specialised logistics services in India.
Large industrial projects often involve heavy, oversized or mission-critical cargo that requires specialised equipment, route planning, port handling and multimodal transportation.
Jassper Shipping plans to strengthen its execution capabilities to address this demand and support EPC companies, manufacturers and infrastructure developers undertaking complex projects.
Pushpank Kaushik, CEO & Head of Business Development (Subcontinent, Middle East & Southeast Asia), Jassper Shipping, said:
“India’s infrastructure and industrial sectors are entering a multi-year growth cycle, creating unprecedented demand for specialised project logistics capabilities. Our planned US$50 million investment reflects our long-term commitment to building stronger capabilities across project cargo, breakbulk logistics, vessel chartering and integrated industrial supply chains.”
Kaushik added that the company is investing not only in infrastructure and capacity but also in technology and execution capabilities aimed at enabling customers to move complex cargo efficiently, safely and reliably.
Jassper Shipping to Strengthen India and Gulf Operations
The investment programme will also support Jassper Shipping’s expansion across India and the Gulf, enabling the company to scale cross-border project logistics, industrial cargo movements and specialised freight solutions.
The company intends to expand its network and strengthen operational capabilities as manufacturing and infrastructure investments increase across India and neighbouring markets.
The broader strategy is aimed at developing Jassper Shipping into a trusted regional industrial logistics partner capable of supporting increasingly complex supply chains.
Technology to Play a Larger Role in Project Logistics
Part of the proposed investment will be directed towards technology-led logistics planning.
For complex project cargo, technology can support planning and coordination across multiple stages of transportation, particularly when cargo moves between ports, industrial facilities and project sites.
By combining technology with specialised transportation, cargo handling and chartering capabilities, Jassper Shipping aims to provide integrated logistics solutions for large industrial projects.
Three Decades of Project Cargo Experience
Jassper Shipping brings more than three decades of experience across specialised logistics and maritime services.
The company’s capabilities include project cargo management, breakbulk handling, ship chartering, customs brokerage, stevedoring and port agency services.
It has executed logistics assignments involving heavy, oversized and mission-critical cargo across domestic and international markets.
With the planned US$50 million capital infusion, Jassper Shipping is looking to build on this experience while increasing capacity, technology adoption and geographic reach across its project logistics and industrial cargo operations.
