Mumbai, India, August 18, 2026: Atom Group has announced the acquisition of Amaltas Partners Limited following formal approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) for a change in control of the DIFC-regulated firm.

The transaction gives the diversified financial services group a direct presence in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), strengthening its international footprint across India, the UAE and Singapore.

Under the transaction, Atom Privé Global Holdings becomes the controlling entity of Amaltas Partners, bringing the DIFC-based firm under the Atom Group umbrella.

According to the company, the DFSA approval followed a regulatory review of the group’s governance, ownership and compliance framework.

DIFC Becomes Strategic Gateway for Atom Group

The acquisition represents an important step in Atom Group’s multi-jurisdictional expansion strategy.

DIFC serves as a major financial hub connecting the Middle East, Africa and South Asia with global capital markets. Establishing a regulated presence within the financial centre is expected to support Atom Group’s ability to serve families, entrepreneurs and institutions with cross-border financial requirements.

“DIFC represents the gold standard for financial services oversight and infrastructure in this part of the world. Establishing our presence here is not just a milestone for Atom Group; it’s a statement of intent,” said Harsha Vardhana, Founder and Group CEO, Atom Group.

Vardhana added that the approval would allow the company to serve clients with greater institutional credibility while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a bridge connecting Indian wealth, Gulf capital and international markets.

Naveen Rastogi to Lead Amaltas Partners

As part of the leadership transition, Naveen Rastogi, currently Global CIO, Multi-Family Office at Atom, has been appointed CEO and Group CIO of the newly acquired entity.

Rastogi will oversee the integration of Amaltas Partners into the broader Atom ecosystem while continuing to manage investment strategy and advisory for global families.

According to Rastogi, Amaltas has established a client-centric franchise within DIFC with relationships spanning entrepreneurs, professionals and family offices.

The immediate priority will be maintaining continuity and stability for existing clients while progressively introducing Atom Group’s broader capabilities, including multi-family office services, risk advisory, investment banking and cross-border solutions.

Pradeep Chandra, outgoing CEO and owner of Amaltas Partners, will step away from day-to-day leadership following completion of the transaction.

Chandra described the acquisition as the next stage in Amaltas’ development, providing greater scale and breadth while maintaining the governance and client-focused principles on which the company was established.

Acquisition Strengthens India–UAE Financial Corridor

The transaction also comes amid strengthening financial and commercial ties between India and the UAE.

The relationship has expanded following the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), with bilateral trade crossing the USD 100 billion mark, according to the press release.

At the same time, Dubai has become an increasingly important international base for Indian entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals looking at global wealth structuring and cross-border business expansion.

With its DIFC presence alongside existing operations in India and its Singapore holding structure, Atom Group aims to provide integrated advisory capabilities for families and businesses operating across these markets.

“India and the UAE are no longer just trade partners. They’re becoming deeply intertwined financial ecosystems,” Vardhana said.

He added that the DIFC presence would enable Atom Group to support Indian families globalising their wealth while providing international clients with a gateway into India’s growth market.

Atom Group Expands UAE Presence

The Amaltas Partners transaction follows another significant UAE expansion by Atom Group.

In June 2026, the group acquired Sirius Capital, a Dubai-based investment banking and special situations advisory firm. That transaction led to the launch of Atom Investment Banking and expanded the group’s operating presence in the UAE.

The latest acquisition further consolidates Atom Group’s capabilities across wealth management, insurance and risk advisory, investment banking and cross-border financial services.
