Heartnet India Signs MoU with IIT Jodhpur Technology Park to Advance Healthcare and MedTech Innovation

Heartnet India, an IoT-based cardiac care solution, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Jodhpur Technology Park. The partnership has been formed to bring healthcare, technology, research, and industry closer together and support new ideas in the healthcare and MedTech sector.
Under the partnership, work will be focused on areas such as AI-powered healthcare solutions, medical devices, diagnostics, point-of-care technologies, and next-generation MedTech innovations. The collaboration is expected to help research ideas move from laboratories toward practical healthcare applications.
The partnership has been announced at a time when technology is playing a growing role in healthcare. Artificial intelligence, connected devices, medical technology, and data-based decisions are increasingly being used to improve the way healthcare is delivered.
Through the MoU, research and technology solutions will be explored with a focus on real healthcare needs. Both organisations will work toward developing solutions that can be useful not only from a technology point of view but also in real-world healthcare settings.

Arindam Sen, Founder of Heartnet India, said that healthcare innovation becomes more meaningful when research and technology can move beyond the laboratory and help solve problems faced by patients and healthcare professionals.
The partnership will also allow Heartnet India to work more closely with the academic and research ecosystem at IIT Jodhpur. Areas including AI, diagnostics, medical devices, and MedTech will be explored for possible practical applications.

The collaboration follows a recent session hosted by the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME), IIT Jodhpur, where Arindam Sen was invited under its “Visionary Voices” leadership series. Students were introduced to the changing cardiac healthcare landscape, the role of technology in improving access to care, and the importance of data in identifying healthcare gaps.
With the signing of the MoU, a stronger connection between healthcare, technology, and academic research is expected to be created. Further opportunities will be explored by both organisations to turn research and new ideas into practical healthcare solutions.
