Singapore | August 6, 2026 — Multiplier Holdings, a technology company transforming the professional services industry through acquisitions and artificial intelligence, has secured $35 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by The General Partnership, with participation from Ribbit Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the company’s strategy of acquiring premium accounting and professional services firms while building AI-powered software that enhances operational efficiency across the network.
Building the Future of Professional Services
Founded with the vision of modernizing traditional accounting firms, Multiplier Holdings combines strategic acquisitions with proprietary AI technology. The company acquires established accounting and tax firms and equips them with automation tools, AI copilots, and modern practice management systems designed to improve productivity and client service.
According to the company, Multiplier has already acquired eight accounting and tax firms across multiple international markets, including the United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, and Hong Kong, with further expansion planned.
AI at the Core of Operations
The company has developed a custom practice management platform integrated with AI copilots capable of handling customer relationship management (CRM), workflow automation, timesheets, Outlook and SharePoint integrations, client portals, and AI-powered accounting data management.
Multiplier said the platform was developed in approximately six months by a lean engineering team and has already replaced several third-party software solutions used by acquired firms. Early internal results indicate that the AI copilots save staff 60 to 90 minutes per management account, significantly improving operational efficiency.
Rather than replacing professionals, the company believes AI will become deeply embedded into everyday accounting workflows, enabling firms to deliver higher-value advisory services while reducing repetitive administrative work.
Leadership Strengthened
As part of its next phase of growth, Allen Shim, former Chief Financial Officer of Slack, has joined Multiplier Holdings as President and CFO. Shim previously led Slack’s financial operations and remained with the company following its acquisition by Salesforce.
His appointment is expected to strengthen Multiplier’s finance, operations, partnerships, and global expansion initiatives.
Expanding Global Talent
Multiplier has also been rapidly expanding its engineering organization. The company has recruited product engineers and designers from leading global technology companies, including Stripe, Scale AI, Google, TikTok, and Open Government Singapore, to build the next generation of AI solutions for professional services firms.
The company is currently hiring additional product engineering leadership roles in Singapore to support its continued growth.
Investor Confidence in AI-Driven Services
The funding highlights growing investor confidence in vertical AI platforms focused on traditional industries such as accounting and professional services. As businesses increasingly seek automation without compromising expertise, companies like Multiplier are positioning themselves at the intersection of AI software and services.
With fresh capital, an expanding acquisition strategy, and an experienced leadership team, Multiplier Holdings aims to build a globally connected network of AI-enabled professional services firms capable of redefining how accounting businesses operate in the digital era.
