Chandigarh-based travel company plans to invest in technology, customer experience and destination expansion as it targets serving 50,000 customers over the next five years
India, August 19, 2026: Chandigarh-based travel company Atravelq has raised fresh funding at an equity valuation of ₹10 crore, backed by its seed investors and founding stakeholders, as the company looks to scale its personalised international travel business.
The fresh capital will support Atravelq’s next phase of growth, with investments planned across technology, customer experience, destination capabilities and operations in selected growth markets in India.
Atravelq specialises in personalised international travel and provides end-to-end services including holiday packages, visa assistance, flights, hotels, transfers and concierge services.
The company currently offers services across 180+ destinations, including Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia and New Zealand. It also operates an office in the UAE to support its international travel business.
According to the company, Atravelq has so far served more than 10,000 travellers and facilitated close to 6,000 international journeys.
Funding to Support Technology and Customer Experience
A key focus of the new investment will be strengthening Atravelq’s technology capabilities as travellers increasingly look for customised experiences rather than standardised holiday packages.
The company plans to use technology alongside destination expertise and customer support to simplify international travel planning while offering itineraries tailored to individual preferences.
Prashant Daroch, Founder of Atravelq, said the investment represents an important milestone for the company as it continues building a traveller-centric platform.
“Travellers today are looking for experiences designed around their interests rather than fixed itineraries. Through this fundraising round, we are now able to invest much more in technology, destination knowledge and support services, enabling international travellers to plan their travel with ease.”
The company expects the investment to help strengthen its ability to deliver more personalised journeys while improving the overall planning and support experience for international travellers.
Atravelq Eyes Growing Outbound Travel Market
The funding comes as traveller expectations continue to evolve, with increasing demand for personalised itineraries, convenient planning and reliable destination-level support.
Capt. Dhruv Anand, Director, Seed Investor and Founding Stakeholder of Atravelq, said the company intends to build its operations around discipline, accountability, preparation and trust.
“I intend to bring those same principles to Atravelq and build a travel company that customers trust, employees are proud of, and investors can confidently grow with.”
Capt. Kapil Malhotra, a Merchant Navy Captain with 17 years of international experience, highlighted the combination of technology and local destination expertise as an important part of the company’s proposition.
“The outbound travel industry is evolving rapidly, driven by changing traveller expectations and a growing preference for personalised experiences.”
Malhotra added that while technology can simplify travel planning, local expertise and trusted guidance continue to play an important role in the overall traveller experience.
Targeting 50,000 Customers Over Five Years
Atravelq said it has developed a loyal customer base, with approximately 60–70% customer loyalty, which the company attributes to trust built through its approach to travel planning.
Looking ahead, the company plans to strengthen destination partnerships and introduce new features aimed at making domestic and international travel more convenient.
Atravelq has set a target of serving 50,000 customers over the next five years.
The company intends to combine technology, destination knowledge and personalised assistance as it scales its presence in India’s outbound travel market.
