Brilliance Cosmocare Raises Rs 1.65 Crore to Build Doctor-Led Skin Health Platform

Mumbai, August 13, 2026: Mumbai-based skin health company Brilliance Cosmocare has raised $200,000 (around Rs 1.65 crore) in a seed funding round. The funding will be used to expand its doctor-led approach to skin health, anti-ageing and long-term wellness.

The company was founded by aesthetic surgeon Dr. Ashok Patel and technology entrepreneur Satyapal Chandra. A different approach to anti-ageing care is being developed by the company, where treatment is planned after proper skin assessment instead of focusing only on cosmetic procedures.

Focus on Early Skin Care

Brilliance Cosmocare is working on a model where skin health can be monitored over a longer period. Patients are first assessed before a treatment plan is prepared.

An AI-assisted skin scan is used to check areas such as skin age, hydration, pigmentation, UV damage and skin barrier health. A report is then prepared, which is used by doctors to decide the right treatment for the patient.

Dr. Ashok Patel, Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Brilliance Cosmocare, said that anti-ageing care should not only be considered when visible signs of ageing appear. Instead, skin health should be looked after from an early stage and monitored over time.

Rs 1.65 Crore to Support Expansion

The seed funding was raised from a group of family offices and institutional investors. The money will be used to improve clinical infrastructure, develop products for preventive care and expand the company’s Skin Record data platform.

The company is also developing an AI-powered system that will allow a patient’s skin health to be followed over time. A preventive nutraceutical range is also being developed.

More Than 12,000 Patients Treated

Brilliance Cosmocare’s clinical work has been built over more than 10 years. More than 12,000 patients have been treated through Brilliance Clinic, the company’s clinical arm.

The clinic, which is located in Andheri West, Mumbai, has received a 4.9-star rating from more than 500 verified patient reviews.

The company also has a doctor-formulated product line and is working on new solutions for preventive skin and hair care.

Growing Skin Health Market in India

The development comes at a time when India’s skincare and aesthetic medicine market is growing. According to estimates mentioned by the company, the market is currently valued at nearly $5 billion and is expected to cross $11 billion by 2032.

More interest is now being seen in science-based skincare and treatments that are supported by clinical information. Brilliance Cosmocare is aiming to build its business around this approach.

“Ageing well is going to be one of the defining health conversations in India over the next decade,” said Satyapal Chandra, Co-Founder and Director of Brilliance Cosmocare. He added that the company wants to build long-term trust with customers instead of focusing only on becoming a large clinic or a highly visible brand.

With the new funding, Brilliance Cosmocare is expected to strengthen its clinical operations, develop new preventive-care products and expand its technology platform. Through these efforts, a long-term model for doctor-led skin and hair health is being built for Indian consumers.
