CHILTIER Launches Wearable Climate-Control Hydro Vest; Opens Pre-Orders Ahead of Kickstarter Campaign

As rising temperatures and unpredictable climate patterns intensify across global markets, wearable climate technology startup CHILTIER has announced the launch of its Hydro Vest — a thermoelectric personal cooling and heating system designed for individuals exposed to extreme weather conditions. The company has opened early pre-orders ahead of its upcoming global Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.

Designed for motorcyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, field professionals, and high-mobility users, the Hydro Vest integrates advanced Peltier-based thermoelectric modules with a closed-loop liquid circulation system. Unlike conventional cooling solutions that depend on ice packs, fans, or gel inserts, the Hydro Vest actively regulates body temperature through thermally conductive tubing embedded within the vest’s inner lining.

The system circulates temperature-controlled liquid to stabilize core body temperature, reduce fatigue, and improve endurance during prolonged rides, treks, outdoor work shifts, and adventure activities. With precision-adjustable settings, the device supports cooling and heating within a 10°C to 40°C range, offering users direct control over their personal thermal environment.

Two Configurations: X1 and Z1

CHILTIER has introduced two models tailored to different usage scenarios:

  • X1 Model: Designed for riders, this version connects directly to vehicle power, enabling extended or continuous operation.
  • Z1 Model: A fully portable configuration powered by a lightweight battery backpack, offering up to eight hours of runtime.

Both models weigh approximately 700 grams, operate at noise levels below 20 dB, and feature water-resistant construction for use in demanding outdoor conditions.

Building a Wearable Climate Ecosystem

Founder and CEO Kulpreet Sahni stated that the company’s goal is to make climate control as intuitive and personal as wearable technology. He emphasized that the Hydro Vest is positioned not only as a comfort solution but also as a tool to enhance safety, resilience, and performance in extreme conditions.

Kulpreet Sahni, Founder and CEO, Chiltier, said, “Our vision at CHILTIER is to make climate control as personal and intuitive as wearable technology itself. The Hydro Vest is not just about cooling or heating; it is about giving people control over their environment, enhancing safety, endurance, and performance in extreme conditions. With our Kickstarter launch, we are building a global community that believes wearable climate technology is the future of outdoor mobility and human resilience.”

The upcoming Kickstarter campaign aims to validate market demand, build a global early-adopter community, and support the initial production phase.

Beyond the Hydro Vest, CHILTIER is developing the Thermo Pod — a scalable, modular platform intended to power a broader ecosystem of wearable climate-control products. The architecture is designed to integrate with other wearable technologies as part of the company’s long-term roadmap toward intelligent personal thermal systems.

The company is currently inviting consumers worldwide to register for launch notifications ahead of the crowdfunding campaign.
