The award highlights Axiado’s Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU), a system-on-chip designed to protect the infrastructure control plane of AI and cloud data-centre platforms. Its Dynamic Thermal Management and intelligent voltage and frequency scaling capabilities allow data centres to adjust performance and cooling in real time based on workload predictions. Internal engineering estimates suggest potential savings of up to $20,000 per rack annually, which could scale to approximately $20 million in savings for a 1,000-rack deployment.

Axiado’s business model is primarily B2B, partnering with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), and cloud service providers (CSPs). Revenue is likely driven through chip sales, licensing agreements, and long-term integration partnerships within data-centre ecosystems.

This combination of security and efficiency positions the company not just as a cybersecurity vendor, but as an infrastructure technology provider addressing both risk mitigation and operational cost challenges.

Competitive Landscape: Hardware Security Emerges as a Strategic Battleground
